We have been breeding German Shepherd Dogs since 1978 on the kennel name "vom Markt Wernberg". But our love to the German Shepherd is a few years older. Actually, we are training dogs since the early 1970s and had been dedicated in the former O.G. Wernberg-Koeblitz. Since 1976, I'm, Willibald Eimer, a member of the SV and my kennel was officialy registrated by the SV on 25th of April in 1978.
My first male "Munko vom Mittelpunkt der Erde", which achieved V84 in 1979 at the BSZS in Mannheim, and my brood bitch "Cati vom Illertal" were the cornerstones of my breeding. The worth of these two dogs can still be seen in the courage, working ability and anatomical structure of all our dogs.
In the following years we have had
a multiplicity of achievements all over the world. Over several decades we were able to develop connection to all parts of the world, but the strongest connection existis to the USA.
A large number of friends supports us in our breeding program.
